    I keep trying to remind people that Adam Gase was Joe Brady before Joe Brady was a thing. Plus Darnold was awful as a rookie under a completely different coaching staff.



    He's still awful in Carolina.



    Oh well. At least I'm fucking right again.

    The thing to remember with Darnold- particularly if you wanted an upgrade on Teddy- is that Darnold putting up the stats teddy had last year would be a HUGE success.

    Yeah, Teddy would actually be fine. That's what makes this such a shitshow. It's not just a downgrade. They're paying the better quarterback 7 million dollars to play for someone else.




    Cam would also be fine, by the way.

    I know the team desperately wants a QB but I'm not sure we should set the benchmark at Ryan Tannehill. Just a thought.

    Realized yesterday that Sam has no patience. He must think he can be a Mahomes if he just tries a little harder. “I’m just a wild scramble and a forced throw away from $500,000,000!!!”
    Hey Sam. ... Much more THINKING, less reacting (and over reacting) please!
    Though kids like Jones and Mills aren’t going to carry NE and Hou to come from behind wins yet, but they aren’t going to Darnold either. They are patient and THINK carefully about what the fuck they are doing and because they are smart they are both doing well for rooks. ..
    Why? Because they are staying in their lane. .. Hey Darnold, please stay in your fucking lane! When you see an open receiver, even if he is the short route please just throw it to him!
