If you swap tannehill and cousins their teams finish with the same record.

According to NBC us and Washington have called the Jets about trading for Darnold, but they are reluctant to deal right now while they evaluate how to move forward.

So that would be a call in addition to the one a few weeks ago, or just ongoing attempts to get them to bite. Seems we're definitely interested though.

What could Sam Darnold do with Anderson, Moore, Arnold, CMC, and Brady calling plays?

I wouldn't mind finding out, that's for sure. Especially with a shiny new OT anchoring the line.

I'm with you there. Still think there's a good QB in there that just needs his confidence restoring and some better coaching to correct the interceptions problem, that he's seemingly had since college.

That's what I am hoping for at this point.

LOVE the trade!!! Didn't sell the future for an unproven QB and not be able to put pieces around him...gave up very little in the grand scheme to get a QB that I feel only needs some semblance of stability in an organization to actually develop the game people thought he had when he was taken #3 overall.
Now...that said...my expectations are still not super high just yet. Still seeing some struggles in '21, depending on the draft. But, I can see 8-8 to 10-6. My hope is that the Panthers stick to the current MO and build...i am eyeing 2023 as the year Carolina makes a run at the NFC Championship with a team built largely through the draft.

The Jets have proven they will continue to be The Jets and will be picking top 5 again in '22. They keep hitting reset and they will never succeed.

Could possibly get that 4th back if someone needs a QB later on and we hang on to Bridgewater?

I'd still draft a lower tier QB in the 3rd or 4th and dump Walker as well.
