80 yards in less than a half. Do you even read what you are typing before hitting the big enter button?

Feels good to be back. Seattle owns us. I am not sure what it is but they have our number the last three times we've played. Glad they are not on our schedule considering their potential.

Did you watch the game last night?:woot:

    I did......very impressive.

We're going to have to play our best game week one. Hopefully, we can stay competetive.

    Here are some impressive stats.

    Time of Possession:

    NO - 38:03
    NE - 21:57

    Third Down Conversion Percentage:

    NO - 11/18 = 61%
    NE - 2/9 = 22%

The Saints have a lot of room to improve still on defense, especially the LB position, but they could have looked much worse against one of the best teams in the league.

I saw Brady in the 4th quarter mouthing,"I really want to win this game." You know he would have jumped at the opportunity to get back in there. He shows lots of poise in the pocket that most QB's don't.

What are you guys looking for against the Giants?

Compete and stay healthy. We won't be throwing a parade if we win.

Didn't you get the memo? Stats are for losers.

Regular season stats are for losers. I am not sure what they consider preseason stats? Perhaps for the desperate???

I didn't watch all of the game, but there seemed to be quite a number of misfires/penalties by the Saints. Clearly, the Saints have talent. I've been saying that on this board for the past couple of years. But it looks like the same issue is there from the past couple of years. I find it frightening to think what another coach could do with this team in Haslett's place.

Last night, again from what I watched, the Saints showed flashes of being really good. But like usual, penalties and stupid mistakes followed up most of those flashes.

That assumption would be wrong. Those posts were made when the Saints were getting their asses handed to them.
