Are nasty. They were without 2 of their best defenseman and they still dominated the Canes and still scored 7 goals. Canes still have some issues.

They are the best team in the NHL right now, and 1 month in, they haven't let up. And they are fun to watch.....I hate saying nice things about Buffalo, but they deserve it right now.

    Their new uni's still blow.

    Ahhhh, that felt good....

despite the score of last night's game and the result of the three games played so far, I gotta say as a Sabres fan that the Canes worry me most. they're the one team that can skate with Buffalo. you give away the puck in the neutral zone and they'll get a good scoring chance.

as ugly as the Sabres unis may be, Rod Brind'Amour is uglier. horse-faced ************.

I agree we match up well if the Canes can get a playoff rematch. Like you said, they both are fast and skilled and fun to watch. Can't say I won't be praying for a Ottawa-like meltdown from the Buffalo Banana Slugs in the first round though!

wont happen....If they stay healthy. I can't believe they've done as well as they have the last couple weeks. Top two defensemen out. top playmaking forward out. top goalie out. Connolly out who knows how long. They got a whiff of what it'll be like to have Lydman and Tallinder out at the same time the other night when Ottawa basically took a win away from them by scoring three in the third to erase a 2-1 lead.

Good news for me is Afinogenov comes back this weekend. Good news because I take my daughter to the Lightning game Monday and she's a big fan of Max's. she was bummed when I told her he was hurt and may not play.
