Part of our problem with handling returners is that we don't consider enough options. Efrem Hill returned every punt last preseason, and we didn't even keep the ************. A smart team would have brought in a veteran to handle the job, but we threw an unproven Marshall back there and crossed our fingers.

I guess, but nothing bad happened. And we have a pretty good punter to help make up those yards.

Yeah, but that makes an offensive fumble that much more dangerous when you don't have as good of field position.

That is also true. It didn't bother me though, the guy's unproven.

Ryne Robinson has been an improvement from last year. This year we are 15th averaging 8 yards per return. Last year we were dead last with 4.6 per return.

However we are still at the bottom with kickoff returns.

He has not looked explosive at all. I haven't seen any college footage of him. he must have looked faster to our scouts for them to be so high on him . . . I don't get it

other than the missed arm tackle last week, it seems, to me atleast, that lucas might be trying too hard. like he is trying to make up for the weak safeties and trying to be everywhere, instead of focusing on his man or his zone
