    So are we to expect that since Crossman hasn't been fired yet we are stuck with him and shitty Special team play again in 2008?

    The only thing I can think of that would be holding up a fire would be we're taking someone on from one of the teams still playing, so my guess is Crossman somehow slipped the noose.

    I generally don't bitch about Fox's loyalty factor but in this case, aarrgghh.

    Special is a good adjective for Danny Crossman, who continues to oversee three of the best specialists in the NFL. Kicker John Kasay, punter Jason Baker and snapper Jason Kyle form the nucleus of a unit that has traditionally ranked among the best in the League. Already excellent, Kasay has only improved under Crossman's eye over the past two years, and Baker has set back-to-back team records for net punting average.
