There's a lot of talk about great quarterbacks coming from PA, but I've never really heard anyone talk about the great running backs of the south. I was just thinking about it, and a HUGE percentage of the great running backs both through history and currently in the league are from the South.

    Walter Payton MS
    Emmitt Smith FL
    Jim Brown AL
    Barry Sanders OK (south-ISH)
    Herschel Walker
    bo Jackson
    Tony Dorsett
    Priest Holmes
    Jamal Lewis
    Rickey Williams
    Warrick Dunn
    Tiki Barber
    Stephen Davis :imagestor
    DeAngelo Williams :satana:

and that's just off the top of my head. What's up with that?

And most of the good running backs that go North are usually from the South. Ohio has really good football, but I'd say 80% of the good recruits in the country are in the South or California

people talk about the QBs from PA because PA is a much smaller microcosm than the entire south (especially if you're lumping in half of the midwest), and QB arguably a much more important position.

AGREE! He went to Pitt. If you're going to be bored and make observations, get them right at least.

If anything, this defeats the whole point of your argument.
