He dropped less balls than Smith in 2003. He dropped less than Colbert in 2004. I don't know how you can interpret that any other way.

    update:
spoke to marty after he dropped Key back at his hotel. Apparently Key is NOT leaving town tonight.

No deal has been agreed to, let alone signed.

    Hurney quotes:

"I think it's gone well. I can only speak for us, but he's a very impressive young man, and we know what he can do as a football player. He seems like our kind of person, and you'd think he would be a perfect fit here. Now we gotta wait and see how things work out."

"We talk about everything, and obviously finances are part of what you talk about. We're in the stage right now where we are trying to see if we can get something worked out. He's gotta feel like this is the place for him. We certainly feel like this is a good place for him as far as we're concerned. It's just part of the process that happens all the time in free agency. He's got a number of teams interested in him, and we'll just see how it plays out."

    --Marty Hurney

He didn't say a whole lot, but he said enough to indicate (to me anyway) that they feel like it is very possible he'll come here.

    EDITED for typos....

those crucial 3rd down lob passes that he drops seem to stand out in the mind more, especially when you just seen him make an impossible catch the last drive when he broke two tackles and fumbled...

I guess when you watch a player for 9 seasons, you see & remember more
