Jaycee Horn says Renfrow is by far the hardest guy on the team to cover

This news about offensive players is exciting, but I'm more interested in who's making it on defense. Sounds like our cornerback room is pretty good, with Horn, Jackson, and Smith-Wade starting and Bartholomew in reserve. We really need another solid backup there though.

The safeties are ok I guess. Moehrig is an upgrade over Woods and Richardson outplayed Fuller last year as a rookie. He should be better now. Having Nick Scott ahead of him on the depth chart makes no sense to me though. I think Ransom is going to be good someday and wouldn't be surprised to see Jack Henderson make it, although he may end up on the practice squad.

I'm interested in how Incoom, Johnson, and Crumedy do in camp. I've heard that Incoom has had a good day, but nothing about the other two. Johnson was good against the run last year but needs to show he can rush the passer, or he's gone. Crumedy was hurt last year but is the type of guy who can play any position on the line if called on, and I want to know if he was a wasted pick or not.

Johnson is having a great camp, allegedly. If that translates into the games, awesome. He fits perfectly into the edge setter profile. Him and Scourton being bigger OLBs eating up run downs while the other three rotate into pass downs would be the ideal setup.

I think Nick Scott being the "starter" right now is basically meaningless, and there's probably a free agent fallback plan if no one can win that job.

They look like they mixed up Turk Wharton and Bobby Brown III. They swapped our two rookie OLBs from the last one I saw, but that's not a big deal.

Looks like you missed three on offense, five on defense, and one on special teams. Not bad for a post made before Training Camp.
