You shouldn't look for Fauria to make a huge impact in the passing game, but he could be a solid option in the redzone and especially near the goal line.

I read that the Bills signed Gaines because they needed "a blocking TE". They're in for a rude awakening.

I like it. Fauria can really help King and Rosario develop, and it's not like we have a whole lot of recent team history involving TEs. Plus, IIRC, Fauria played in the same offense in NE that Jeff Davidson was involved with when he was there.

If he can play at all, that's a big plus right now and justification enough for picking him over the rest of the field.

Carolina Panthers TE Jeff King will continue to be the team's starting tight end.<<<

not an awful signing this time of year, but Fauria I can't see contributing a ton. I imagine, once we chose to get rid of Gaines, we chose to look at Fauria but waited the week so we wouldn't have to guarantee Fauria's salary.

I don't get why we didn't get rid of Freeman, but we might wait to see if Deloatch can clear waivers to go on PS (Is he eligible?) before trying the same with Freeman. It's not that I think Freeman is bad, I just don't know why we need the 4 TEs.
