    is it time to let it go?


    I think it's ridiculous, for one, to force it to be on interim head coaches to interview others also. Unless that coach is already a minority.

    until they need a rule to interview a white guy... I don't have a problem with it

    I think it is silly. If an owner thinks you will make his team win he will hire you no matter your race. If he does not think that he is not going to hire you but you might get a token interview. It all symbolism and no substance.

    I think it help AA coaches, as many were exposed to owners that may not have been. But now that there are successful AA coaches in place I believe the rule is no longer necessary.

    What helped a lot more than the Rooney rule is guys like Tony Dungy, Dennis Green and Art Shell.

    so now the cowpies have to have an interview even though they removed the interim tag on Garrett.

    they should have a rooney rule for white DB's on a team.

    Why is there no 'Rooney Rule' for player positions?

    70+% of NFL players are black. Players are hired help who are intended to improve a team's chance of winning, correct? Same as a coach?

    Your point may be relevant in 2050 when whites do not make up 2/3 of the population in America.
