    Get some rat traps and good poison. Not that D-Con crap.

    I moved into an old farmhouse years ago that had huge river rats in the basement (stone/dirt walls and floors) The damn things were bigger than good sized cats. I put out some of that brick poison with corn in it. They were all dead within a few days.

    Oh, and my garden might be done, but at least I don't have rats [​IMG]

    Rats in ceiling means rats in walls. Hate to say call exterimnator on this one. You want to trap all of these. Poision will be very effect so will be the rotting bodies under insulation and between walls. Good luck
