    I won't criticize Rod. he's done his fair share of good things for us. He's been a team player and hard worker, and his personality is entertaining. When he and Cooper were together, they made a heck of a pair.

    With all that said, his ability hasn't been the same since his injury and at this point he's pretty much been completely supplanted by Jamal Robertson. Also, according to Hurney, the number three runningback this week will be Hoover, not Smart.

    My guess is he won't be back next season.

    Funny thing: way back when, I thought the team had gone goofy when I heard they signed him. Now Id have to say that I'll be sorry to see him go (but that time does seem to have come).
