He did nothing for us. I think people are thinking about this way too much. I'm glad to have Cramer activated. It can't hurt the run game that's for sure.

And he was so solid that Washington gave up on him for a song. Of course, they had the luxury of replacing him with David Patten and, ooo, Taylor Jacobs.

Same compliants heard from Henning, were heard from each Washington coaching staff. He has some ability, but he ran bad routes and sometimes the wrong routes. You don't hear those kind of compliants about Keary or Prohel, whatever their physcial limitations may be.

I can't say Cramer will do us wonders if/when he plays (personally, I wouldn't mind seeing some of both Goings and Hoover at RB, compared to the other options), but he seemed like a fine blocker when in last year, and IMO a better blocker than the rest of our RBs.

Gardner was a bust of a move.
I lobbied for another WR - we got it. He had opportunity, talent, and did little. Too bad - he had his chance. He had the ability to capitalize, even had a regressing 2nd year player starting ahead of him. And we got nothing out of him.

And it sure didn't help Gardner that Colbert hasn't lit the field up. When you're #2 guy isn't drawing much concern from defenses and you can't beat HIM out for playing time, we have to be wondering if adding ONE WR next year is going to be enough to make our passing game threatening.

I have never seen a WR let a pass hit him on the shoulder without looking at it.

I think the Panther neotiated his salary down at the beginning of the year, maybe as part of the trade.

Gardner released, Smart deactivated, Davis IRed. There is no conspiracy, the coaching staff just finally woke up and did things they needed to do weeks ago. As much as I want to avoid getting back into the insane Carter hype from pre-season, I would like to at least put him on the field a couple of times and see what happens.

Well, he's got some speed. Next time, make sure he catches it, an opposing coach that hasn't mailed it in might challenge.

    And Colbert with another drop.

Something is seriously wrong with the guy. He's in a funk.
