I wonder if the networks are going to stop blowing Michael Vick and start on Bush? Not like Vick has won it all on any level

On a bunch of dump off passes, and if you're watching the game you'll notice that his receivers aren't gaining yards after the catch. That's because he's leading the defense right to them by staring them down before the quick throw.

He still looked better than Grossman though.

    God the Bears are inept.

anywhere I lay my head I'm gonna call my home
    a la Jeff Lewis.
Not to create the parallel outright, of course. A lot of WCO guys have tremendously efficient preseason outings and can have very low ypa, or have decent yards because of a busted play or two.
One of my highest hopes were Lewis' preseason games in 99 and 00, where he'd throw something like 13-18. But it'd be for around 90 yards. And no scores. And there were plenty of backup QBs in WCO systems making their vanilla checkdowns, making easy passes accurately, and showing high efficiency.

9/14 for 75 with a pick just isn't that great. You have to have a hell of an arm and the ability to wait for a time or two per game to strike, to get by with being 65% on meaningless passes the rest of the game.

Well yeah, that's not great at all. The first thing I heard when I tuned in was Phil Simms praising Rivers for bouncing back after the interception. After looking at the yardage stats, I can see how dump-offs played a bigger role than anything else, although I did see him make a nice throw on a scramble.

Didn't see much of Grossman, other than the pic he threw to McCree. Griese led another TD drive. He could be the lesser of two evils for Chicago.

those dump off might be slightly more effective when they fall in the hands of Ladainian Tomlinson.

But Rivers isn't the second coming. He's the opposite of Grossman though. But they both suck.
