    Ron Rivera Wired

Speaking of growth....Ronald has shed the McDonald nickname, and replaced it with two heavy nuts named River and Boat.

    This is a good video.

I'm still nervous about extending him, but I have to admit that I like him being willing to learn instead of being stubborn. I also actually liked him taking the field goal late against Tampa instead of going for it again on 4th & 1. It showed that he's actually thinking instead of just mindlessly going for it all the time.

Agreed. The ability to learn iand aspart is reassuring. He's always been pretty honest with the media.

    Couldn't agree more.

I'm still not uber high on him, but I have to admit....the in game adjustments, us coming out of the second half more prepared, the way our young players are learning and developing...it points well to how he has grown with the team.

I like him. I'm nervous about the extension too. And the season isn't over. If the team implodes, he isn't getting signed.

He's a little different than I imagined and I saw this vid last night 2X (dvr) and think he looks/sounds pretty good. I see why the players like him and he appears to know his shit and seems prepared. I kinda like his demeanor as a coach.

would like to see back-to-back winning seasons and a couple of playoff wins before I'm board with extensions

but he's proven to be better than we all thought, for sure… this his team all the way and franchise record winning streak is something nobody outside the locker room believed could happen

It would be nice, but it's just not feasible.

You don't send a coach into a lame duck season nowadays, and we did it before and it turned out like shit.

He's earning an extension. I just don't want to give him some mega deal on a fucking platter.

He has shown the capacity to learn and improve, and work with the talent available. That's really all u can ask for in a first time head coach.

You could ask for that to happen before the third season.

True....he was a complete retard in season 1, and really most of season 2. But hey, better late than never!
