    Some guys still love the game and have a desire to win. Look at Steve Young and Joe Montana out there getting beat up trying to win one more. Look at Emmit Smith playing that playoff game with a seperated shoulder. Look at John Elway throw his body into two bigger defenders trying to score in the superbowl. Ricky Williams is not in the same class as those guys.

    Look at how the Cowboys were so loyal to him that they kept him on and let him retire a Cowboy, even after he was slowed by age... oops.

    The difference is that everyone but Emmitt knows that Emmitt's done. If not for the record, Emmitt woulda been cut years ago.

    I am not saying Williams should have been loyal to the Dolphins but he should have had more desire to prove himself as a player. He never really reached his potential.
