With JR's health, it is a question that needs to be asked and answered. From an estate perspective, it may make sense to sell the team before he passes away rather than deal with it through the will.

from an idealistic standpoint, this would be an opportunity to hire a football man as President.
Of course that could mean good or bad things for Hurney and/or Fox; could mean Hurney in that role with a "real" GM. Could alternately be a president who would want to gut things and start over.

I'd set aside my problems with Mark over time. Things have run fairly well the last few years. As long as this isn't symptomatic of something else, I'm fine with both stepping down.

Gambling would be my guess...see the Pittsburgh Rooney's. Sold majority of the team so they could get into the newly legalized gambling racket in PA.
