Everyone hold your breath that this is a minor injury. I don't want to start the season with Claridge at LG.

    From the Charlotte Observer:
SPARTANBURG - The run of bad luck on the Carolina Panthers offensive line may have continued Sunday afternoon.

Starting left guard Tutan Reyes injured his left ankle in a drill, the team said. However, team trainers spent a lengthy period of time examining Reyes' left knee when he went down before carting him off the field for tests. Results of tests were not available immediately.

Reyes appeared to have locked up one starting guard position. Bruce Nelson, who was projected for the other starting spot, had hip surgery and will miss at least the first six regular-season games. Offensive tackle Adam Meadows retired earlier in training camp after experiencing problems with an arthritic shoulder.

The team also announced Sunday that defensive end Kavika Pittman will miss the entire season after tearing his ACL in his left knee during Saturday's practice.

To fill Pittman's roster spot, the Panthers signed offensive tackle Tango McCauley.

I heard Willig & Moose both went off in carts today and Coop hurt a finger.

Brex would play that G instead of Claridge I bet. But I really bet Wharton would end up playing there. They don't want to move him, but they would just have to.

Who did you hear that from? Was it someone who was at practice?

Shit, shit, and triple shit!!! I thought we were actually going to make it out of camp for the first time in a LONG time without any key injuries. Pittman and Reyes lost in consecuative days now ... I should of known it was coming.

Someone at camp and later saw a report but forgot where that said Willig is just a bruised knee. They thought Moose was an ankle and were more concerned about Willig because "he was down for a while", but sounds like bruise. Don't know about Coop. If I stumble across the "official report" I'll update. But this is just from an attendee.

    From the Foxhole:
On injuries from the afternoon practice: Tutan Reyes has an ankle sprain. Matt Willig has a knee contusion. Donald Hayes has a hamstring.

Wonder if the camp attendee mistook Moose & Hayes?

Yeah, but who is still out there? All I've been able to find is a bunch of broken down old warhorses and a slew of undrafted FA's. Any ideas? I don't like the prospect of getting held up for a higher than value draft pick at this point for some one who is marginally serviceable.
