    Help! [LarryD, suave]

I registered on another board [Aebersold's Jazz Forum]; definitely
got accepted... except the board won't accept my posts/replies.
[There is something mentioned about not accepting hmtl(html), something like that. Anyhow, I don't have that and haven't had any problems with any boards except this one.]
I would like to reregister using different info, but the registering link/button is not made available to me because the site thinks that everything is hunky-dory; when I log onto the site it
states "welcome back jazzredcat". [They said to reregister, totally
ignorring that I told them the register link/button was unavailable.]
Would going into my cookies and deleting the proper ones release me from their site so that I can reregister? What' the
    risk?

    Thanks

you should just be able to click the 'log out' or 'log off' link. that'd do the trick.

"you should just be able to click the 'log out' or 'log off' link. that'd do the trick."

I understand that if you don't log in you usually can't post.
However, there's no logging in/out at this site.
The same at Jazzcorner. At JC the site knows me by my simply
clicking onto the site. I can post without signing/logging in.

Please think about it more. I'm intrigued with the subject
material at this Aebersold site; it's pure jazz/jazz oriented
    stuff---my specialty.

    Thanks in advance.:)

I found out it's not a good idea to (selectively) delete cookies.
I did so and when I turned my computer back on it put me in a
    "holding pattern" on the desktop.
I reinstated the cookies from the recycle bin and that solved it.
[I still have the problem with not be able to post.]
