I don't want to see all the sexual animations. Isn't there any way I can disable those? I'd like to stay on this board, but I'm not sure I want with all this.

I think it's a legitimate point. Kids read this board, the ones c0llin didn't scare away and these same smilies are available to the preps board, so I don't know if they'll stay.

 

I'm an old man that is not offended by much and certainly not by smilies. I just see no purpose in them. I hope you decide to stay. I enjoy your input (although we both belong to the same mailing list and swap info their also)

 

Agreed. There have always been a few small ones, which I could deal with, but the new, big, obvious ones create a problem for me (kids nearby). And disable images doesn't do anything about smilies.

 

these kids see far worse on the internet , at school , and on television..

that's pretty damn funny to suggest they are inappropriate for highschool kids...lol....do you people not remember highschool?

 

they've asked Fred and others to take avatars, sigs, and so on, down from Preps before. That's up to them. Trust me, it's not a matter of what they can see, there are still things considered inappropriate in some forums.

As for us here, I don't care personally. But this isn't the first time I've been asked about removing things like language and pics in this forum. I personally don't care about them, but do think it's odd that Larry installed smilies with penises.
