It would help if Steve would look for the fucking ball. Damn that would've been a first down and it ended up a fucking TD for the Jets. :94poopbanana-thumb1

I know it was a fluke that it was picked, but that throw says a lot about Jake's accuracy. No pressure, 10 yard slant and he throws it behind him and hits him in the foot.

yeah. Smith certainly didn't make the correct move on the play.

Why assume he should be looking for the ball there?

Why would Moose and Smith be running a route to within 10 ft of each other?

So he should expect a balk to hit him in the foot at anytime regardless of the route? I'll stick with the OC/ head coach's take that Jake was confused.

so even though there's a consistent history of Smith doing something different on a combo route than is expected, that doesn't matter and Smith was clearly just doing exactly what he should've done?

If he had been looking for it he could have caught it waist high. It hit him past where he would have caught it (had he been looking at it) in the foot because he was running downfield.

I don't know why he and Moose were close. Smitty was wide ass open. Had Jake thrown it to Rosario or who the fuck ever in double coverage all you fuckers would be bitching that Steve was wide the fuck open.

ANd how in fucking hell was the PI on Moose?
