    Hello,

    There is a petition located at:

    Its first goal is to raise awareness of the fact that Raycom Sports/Lincoln Financial Sports is preventing viewers in ACC markets from seeing the ACC Tournament in HD, while viewers outside of those markets are allowed to view it in HD on ESPN HD. In the ACC markets (basically the states which have ACC schools) ESPN HD broadcasts many of the games in HD, but Raycom Sports/Lincoln Financial Sports blacks it out. The second goal is to demonstrate to Raycom/LF Sports and to the ACC the outrage that this causes for HDTV owners and the fans that care the most about the ACC.

    It will be presented to Raycom/LF Sports, the ACC, and many of the Raycom's advertisers on paper in a professional manner.

    Raycom/LF Sports is already considering offering the tournament in HD in 2007. They have not made a decision on this. Maybe the petition will have some tiny influence on swaying them toward bringing us HD content in 2007 instead of 2008 or 2009.

    Yes, the possibility for failure is great, but it only takes 30 seconds to sign.

    He probably also belives in his right to think Raycom/Lincoln Financial's decision not to broadcast in HD sucks ass.
