    So are you mad at the prosecutor or just Goodell? Because it seems like you really don't give a shit about the Ray Rice situation, you just want an excuse to bitch about Goodell.

    I don't particularly like Goodell and he's definitely a step down from Tagliabue, but the abuse the guy is taking is way out of proportion with his actual job performance. Maybe it's because the players hate him and fans are following their lead, or maybe it's just that he's not at all likable. Whatever the cause, the chorus is becoming annoying.

    I just find it funny Goodell can blame Sean Payton for not knowing what his coaches are doing and get suspended for a year and the exact same thing is unfolding in his own office. The league office got the DVD and Goodell either chose not to look at it or underestimated the effect of it getting out

    The thing is, Sean Payton knew and did stuff too. I am pretty sure he was allowing this criminal type dude to contribute money to the bounty program. 5k if I recall. There were e-mails tp Payton, offering to do that, from an individual who is a convicted felon. I am not going to search fr documentation because this shit is so far back and I don't have time but I remember reading about it then. Of course, Saints fans and Drew Brees refuse to hear any of that.

    Plus, Payton was told to stop the activities related to bounty programs etc., didn't, and lied about that.

    If Goodell lied about that video, he is toast also, if he's not anyway.

    Sean Payton did know, and there's no proof yet that the interior elevator video was sent to the league office. The AP report quotes an anonymous source, which I don't like to begin with, and doesn't say who it was supposedly sent to.

    So Ray was just dragging his fiancee out because she stumbled? A law enforcement official says he sent a video of Ray Rice punching his then-fiancee to an NFL executive three months ago, while league officers have insisted they didn't see the violent images until this week.

    The person played The Associated Press a 12-second voicemail from an NFL office number on April 9 confirming the video arrived. A female voice expresses thanks and says: "You're right. It's terrible."

    Wouldn't it be worth the NFLs time to follow up on the anonymous source?
