i was telling him to please stfu with that shit.

i thought the ball had to break the plane regardless of where the feet are. it isnt like he was in the back of the end zone or the side, where the ball would have to cross the plane in order for a td catch to be made. i get that, but the ball never broke the plane. yet it was a score. the ref just stated that both feet were down inside the endzone and the catch was made. he never said the ball broke the plane.

weird rule....just when you think you've seen it all too.

i was pulling for the Steelers anyway.

I don't think the ball broke the plane. It would have been interesting to see if Tomlin would go for it on fourth down, and obviously whether or not they made it if he did.

If you say that he 1) had 2 feet down in the endzone and 2) the ball never broke the plane... Then what is the difference between that and laying in the endzone and recovering a fumble on the field of play and being downed before the ball breaks the plane? Is that a td? Or a running back that leaps, gets helicoptered, lands with his feet in the endzone and then is downed before the ball breaks the plane? Is that a td? I can't imagine the 2 feet in the endzone by itself can be a touchdown. The ball has to break the plane. Or at least it should. End of the endzone and side of the endzone the ball breaking the plane is implied. I think that the replay official must have been convinced that the ball in fact did break the plane while in his posession. Personally I didn't think that there was enough "Indisputable Visual Evidence" to reverse a call whichever way it was called. And it was calleddown at the 6" line. Really hope the NFL issues a coverup, I mean clarification on this one.

There is no way you overturn what was ruled on the field based on the video evidence. The NFL is catching hell today and they should. I think the Steelers were going to go for it if they hadn't gotten so lucky with the ruling.
