What horseshit call. Color me not giving a fuck who wins the game, but the ruling on the field was one foot short. The replays didn't show the Steelers reciever with the ball in the endzone. Doesn't matter where his feet were.

It was very close. He caught the ball over the goal line from what I saw though.

He was leaning forward with the ball. I thought he was just short of the goal line. Not much, but I couldn't overturn it.

Maybe the ref had a better view and could stop time it.

when he gained possession, it didn't look like the ball was across the goal line.

i think he gained possession immediately. that would have to be the ruling too.

I am not sure what the rule is. It looked like he caught the ball over the goal line but was only over it for a split second before falling forwards and out of the end zone. If a running back had gotten the ball as far as he did it would have been a TD for sure since I feel certain it broke the plane where he caught it.

I know if you catch the ball at the back of the end zone like that then it is a TD. The ball can be out of bounds as long as the receiver gets both feet down it counts. I am not sure it works that way at the front of the end zone but if it does then it was an obvious TD.

If you possess the ball at any time where the ball crosses the front of the white line, it's a touchdown.

I just didn't think he did that. Most of his body, yes. As the ref pointed out, the feet, yes. The ball, I didn't think so,

I don't think the ball ever broke the plane of the goal line. Very close but it didn't make it.

It was very close. I forget, did they call it a TD and uphold it, or was it a reversal?
