Rating the Unis

1. Indianapolis Colts - Classic logo, great colors, great stripes.

20. Carolina Panthers - NWA was straight outta Compton. These are straight outta Arena Football.

25. Jacksonville Jaguars - Looks like the initial design the Panthers laughed out of the pitch meeting.

26. New England Patriots - Boy, do I hate these. In a vacuum, they bellow "USFL!" from the rooftops, but they're not horrible. They're merely bad. However, when you consider New England dumped what were the best unis in the NFL in favor of this garbage, then it becomes one of the great crimes of the century. Viva la Pat the Patriot! Oh, and Bill Belichick is a cheater, cheater, pumpkin-eater.

 

Valuable, and relevant.

 

Indy has great unis, if you're looking for a sleep aid.


I'd put Detroit and Carolina further up. I like the Ravens and Broncos too. Looks like this guy has the hots for old unis, but not all modern designs are bad.

Pittsburgh and Green Bay are ugly as shit, but no one wants to admit it.

I think this article sucks. I thought that the uniform that the Panthers wore at St Louis looked like they killed!

Definitely deserve no less than top 10.

 

Colts unis are far from either being intimidating, nor are they big sellers long for look. For winning, sure. But when the Raiders are bad, their unis still sell.

Cowboys have always been marketable.

I like our unis. Basic colors, match the helmet.

 

IMMFO Raiders unis are the best. GO PANTHERS!

 

Several teams are fine as is. Some like Cleveland (agree with him on the orange pants), Atlanta (red Bartkowski era unis, with the Nobis era black jerseys as the alternate color), New Orleans (black jersey/white pants-white jersey/black pants they used about the time they traded Archie Manning), Buffalo (the throwbacks they're now using, but in navy instead of royal blue), Detroit (get rid of the black trim and go with the silver numbers trimmed in white from the '70's), Oakland (silver numbers trimmed in black from the late '60's early '70's on their white jerseys), Arizona (go back to the St Louis unis), San Francisco (didn't the Walsh era unis look better than what they have now?) and Minnesota (Tarkenton era unis) are better off with throwbacks. Some (Cincinnati, New England, Miami, Tennessee, Houston, and Washington, though this year's throwbacks aren't bad) need to burn their unis and start over.

 

He really likes the classic boring ones. I like ours alot. The entire NFC East's blow. I actually kinda like the Seahawks green ones. Chiefs' suck.

 

Like the old school look myself. Most of the newer uni's look like something out of the arena league or NFL Europe.

 

Our's are ok, i just hate the actal logo.
