Afraid LB is a need too.

OT may be as well. If not right now, certainly for the future.

It's probably not a need, although you can still upgrade there. Anderson is set, while Beason & TD are at least expected to come back, regardless of how effective they will actually be. I imagine they'll get a linebacker in the draft, but probably a guy in the middle to late rounds who can back up those two.

It's not a need if you trust TD to play the year.

What is Hurney's track record for trading down early? The perception is he seems to want to trade up in the first three rounds. Desiring to trade down only on day two.

It's not about trust so much as the fact that he's here and getting paid, so you'd expect the draft pick to be a backup for now.

Well yeah, okay. But he's getting paid whether he is healthy or not.

As much as we have a need to upgrade at DT, I just don't see one worthy of the #9. I'm leaning to Collins thinking and would rather go after one in round 2 with it being the Clemson Brandon Thompson or Jerrel Worthy if he falls. We have bodies that have some playing time under their belt and Edwards is back next year.
Our secondary is garbage after Gamble so the circulating rumors about USC Stephon Gilmore is plausible. If not in the first then Jenkins if he dropped but I doubt Richardson would want him with his baggage.

I don't know why but drafting Couples isn't ringing my bell.

Anybody that watched a Tarheel football game and wants Coples at 9 is an idiot. Hes a wanna be Peppers with far less talent.

Just to be clear I was the one that started the Decastro thing here. The idiot Purrsy tried to use it to discredit me at the time making multiple comments about what a stupid idea it was until i finally shamed him into shutting the f¥ck up. Others seemed to make the same observations about Decastro as i did. I dont post as often as others but i did bring it up. Collin has never claimed he did though.

You're entitled to your opinion, just don't expect anyone else to value it. For the record, no one is saying that Coples has as much talent as Peppers but he's still clearly the most talented defensive lineman in this draft. He was also one of the most productive defensive linemen in college football the last two seasons. If there weren't some questions about him then he wouldn't even be available at #9, which he might not be.

Do a search before posting stuff like this, you dumbass. Several different people were pushing DeCastro before you, including PantherPaul and The Special One.
