    Personally, I think the Tit's have screwed the pooch thus far.

    it's definitely boom or bust, but maybe they figure having a college OC is going to help make this crap go. If they're not careful, they're going to be running the fucking option.

    There aren't an aweful lot of option teams left in college. Hell, even HS teams are shying away from the option these days. I know I wouldn't run it unless I had a four or five RB's I just couldn't keep off the field.
    The one local HS coach I'd really like to coach with ran the option for quite a while, probably til the mid 90's, then he started to flow with the talent and has moved to more of a versatile offensive scheme that employs numerous sets.
    He's been coaching for 36 years, 28 at the current school. I'd really like to learn the ropes from someone with his mind.
