Get over it, if I had meant anything other than the NFL, I wouldn't have posted it in the fucking football forum.

I never had anything to get over. I'm not complaining that my pussy hurt after Randy Moss celebrated a touchdown.

I started this thread way before he ever did that. I'm complaining about his "me before team" attitude, calling out Tice, and saying he'd walk off the field again if he felt like it, knowing that it was wrong. I really don't have much to say about the celebration. Buck over-reacted, but that's nothing new. Moss is a piece of shit, and I hope Matt Birk knocks him the fuck out one of these days. I sure as hell wouldn't want anyone like that on my team, and the celebration is the last reason on the list.

Man I saw that idiotic move and it was like watching Joe Montana play for the Chiefs his last year. That was an amazing fuckup on Brett's part and cost the team points to close out the half. I think he has overstayed his welcome in the NFL..

If Moss played for the Panthers, Reznor wouldn't be pontificating so. He'd have squealed like a schoolgirl and creamed all over his TV set.

Learn to read, I haven't said much at all about the celebration.

forget about the celebration then. If Moss played for your team, you wouldn't give two shits about his behavior. there haven't been many (if any) games he's lost, but plenty he's won.

It’s clear that a percentage of people here and elsewhere do not dig the celebrations and self aggrandizing crap and I would be one of those. I much prefer the classy guys who flip the ball casually to the ref after a score and act like they have been there before. Or D-linemen who limit celebration to a first pump or primitive double fisted clinch after a sack and then get back on their side of the line. I think all the over the top “look at what I can do” crap takes away from the entire TEAM FIRST aspect of this game which is what has made the sport of football the ultimate team game since it’s inception. These days so many players want additional attention that self-serving can easily override team first. For all of my pondering over this over the years I’ve come to a conclusion that there is not a damn thing that can be done about it beyond what has been done. If league officials increase the fines and/or penalties that might cut down on it a little for a while but showboating and attention drawing is now a part of the game. I’m still trying to accept and get over it because there's nuttin I can do to change it more to MY liking.
