    - I think our defense played solid. Yes Vick got a lot of rushing yards, but we contained him pretty well in the passing game, and Duckett didn't even make noise on the radar.

    - I don't blame Jake at all. I blame our our Offensive line for pitiful play. Jake had pressure on him every time he tried to pass and was forced to make quick passes due to that. Furthermore they didn't open jack for Davis to run through.

    - I also blame the coaching staff for calling stupid goalline sets and expecting Davis to have success running. They were packing in and our offense couldn't move... we have were running an offense (the goalline set) that featured 3 TEs... if you remember we were starting our 2nd string TE. Our second TE was a street Free Agent that hasn't played all season, and our 3rd TE was our normal starter, but he was playing hurt. How in the hell can we expect to successfully run?!?! Our best bet would have been to at least go with 2 WR, 1 TE, a FB and Davis. At the very least its gonna spread the secondary and make it harder for them to help stop the run.

    - I would've like to have seen Foster more. Maybe it was just me, but it seemed he looked like he was a step away from busting hell wide open.

    - I gotta get some work done so I don't get fired... I'll return with more random thoughts... feel free to add your own.

oh... another quick random thought... our secondary look 500 times better yesterday with Manning in the starting lineup... Grant played like he was supposed to and seems to FINALLY be coming along this season... we're a shutdown corner from making that part of the defense respectable.

Manning got screwed on the play that Price ran into his ass... how do you get Pass Interference by just standing where you are?!?!?

I agree our Defense was fired up and played with as much emotion as you can expect. We had some BS calls, but then thats pretty normal. Our line play was below average for our team. I say it like that because we have enjoyed a pretty high level of play through most games. Muhamid didnt cost us the game by stopping on that last play, but he sure did make or not make rather the play that ended the game. Bottom line is Delhome was not careful enough with the whole center snap thing and that cost us a couple series and field position. This one is on the O.

    Listening to #24, too.

Yeah, Manning should start, and Grant is finally making plays.

    So we got that.

I love it when Jenkins gets pissed. It's looks like he has twice the strength of the linemen he's going against sometimes. I wish he would play with that anger constantly. Also did you see Peppers glaring down at Vick after knocking him out of bounds as they were walking back to the center of the field?
