18:47 PT: Quarterback Randall Cunningham, an unrestricted free agent, told Comcast SportsNet that he’s retiring from the league to focus on his family and private business. He said he’d like to retire as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Ravens last season.

did anyone hear reggie white on packman's show last week? he sat in for the whole show. Someone called and asked him about his days in Philly, he wasn't exactly kind in his descriptions of cunningham.

Um, yeah, and Reggie's such a stand-up, objective kinda guy, right?

I don't know what type of guy he is...why isn't he a stand up objective type guy? seems to me he tells it the way he sees it.

Reggie White may be a nice guy to certain people, after all he is an ordained minister, but he has been known to spout a lot of racism and other garbage throughout his career. This is just one article from a couple of years ago. A lot of conservatives don't like him because he occasionally spouts anti-white rhetoric. A lot of liberals don't like him because of his anti-gay stance.

None of that has anything to do with how good of a football player he was, and he was damn good, but I wouldn't trust his assessment of anyone else. I just don't agree with a lot of his views. You might feel differently.

What was he saying about Cunningham?

Outside of his FB career, his opinions are one thing I always liked about White. While I don't agree with alot of what he says and sometimes have cursed him for his opinion...he voices it, that is respectable in my book.
