Mark Bruener, Jed Weaver, and Patrick Hape have visits scheduled with the Rams. I suppose they're weighing options on matching the offer we made to Manauenamenanane

Bruener's cheaper for what they'd need (hell, for what we'd need).

    Hape would fit here too.

But I guess that's a good sign that the Panthers will get their guy.

I guess size matters the most, Hape would fit better here the way we use our TEs as H-backs, IMO. Bruener is probably better than Mana. but has injury questions, I think.

    agree, on both.
Hape could fill that H-back type role, since I'd guess that of the two we'd use Mangum on the line when they bring him in. Just like I'd assume with Manumanu the slender.

Still don't know why we don't ever use Hoover in that situation. From the hype he gets, and from a basic amount of paying attention to him, he's adequate at worst, and would allow us to go with base personnel for more exotic run sets.

And the sad part of it is the fact that Hoover has better hands than Mangum.

Did we have a history coachin/scouting manumaneula?

Just wondering if their's a 'connection'. That move surprised me more than anything.

hey Bat or anyone else with ESPNInsider. Paste some shit about Manu.
Or anyone really. It's a lot easier than me having to go back by memory on what I scouted on each of these guys :D

Best I know, there's no connection. No Rams coaches, no college coaches.

the only connection is his size and what we want to do on offense. If you can block, we'll find you a job. Nevermind that it means being fully predictable until the game is on the line. I'd almost like to see the Davis for Law trade happen just because we're much more versatile with Foster in the game.

When Davis is in:run Davis up the middle, next play: run Davis up the middle. 3rd and 5: 4 yard pass to Steve Smith. Punt.

With Foster: run Foster up the middle 2 yd gain. next play: pitch out to Foster, breaks 5 tackles for 15 yds and a TD. :xyzthumbs

I do like it! I hope they will use Davis and Foster in 2 RB sets some this year.

Just to keep the tangent alive, consider:
Deshaun Foster still doesn't have a rushing TD in the regular season.
