    Raiders | J. George could be cut and then possibly re-signed

    John Clayton, of ESPN, reports the Oakland Raiders could cut QB Jeff George and then possibly re-sign after Week 1 when his salary would not be guaranteed for the whole season. The team sees that George still has a very strong arm.

    All came down to Walters health and a possible Tui trade. I saw the release coming after Walter and Tui both played in the final preseason game. I said it would all make sense sooner than later!
