    I have Ad-Aware on the pc. It only removes the garbage, it doesn't completely dissolve it. I have gone into Reg, and deleted the problems-they still come back. I have a firewall that came w/my ISP. But how do I rid of ie; people-on-people? It just keeps coming back. Thanks for the suggestions..

    Unless you quit going online the garbage will come back that's why you run Ad-Aware. As far as IE, its built into Windows. Try Mozilla, when you load it, it will become the default browser, but there are some things you will still need IE for.

    Instead of clicking Reply you need to click the Quote button in the lower right hand corner of a post, and it will quote that individual person.

    OR

    You can type it in like this

    [quote = Destiny][/ quote]

    But leave the spaces out so it'll be like quote=Destiny inside the brackets and /quote.

    Also when you run Ad-Aware make sure its the newer one and updated. Run the smart scan setup.

    You might want to go into Control Panel, click Administrative Tools ,Double Click Services Icon, scroll down till you find the Messenger Line , you need to make sure this is Disabled.

    Description:
    Transmits net send and Alerter service messages between clients and servers.
    This service is not related to Windows Messenger. If this service is stopped Alerter messages will not be transmitted. If this service is disabled , any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.

    I dont know of any reason you need this enabled.

    Ad-Aware (especially the free version) has never been able to completely clean a PC. You need to back it up with another free service like Yahoo's Anti-Spy toolbar AND you need to go into your Control Panel and remove every program that could be regenerating spyware. Research each title on Google if you're not sure what it is.

    I wouldn't use Yahoo's toolbar. I've heard that that it may allow its own shit in. Microsoft Anti Spyware beta may be a better way to go.

    Just givin' you a heads up on the Yahoo deal.
