Gamble can go suck a dick, so long as we're playing C2 next year, which I still feel we'll end up doing. Meeks made some pretty lowly corners into productive players in Indy. No need dumping the Brinks truck in front of a CB's house. Horrible deal. (Still think Fox pissing on Gamble was a good move, although Fox's motives were probably more rooted in shitting on Hurney than anything.)

I'm not alone in this thinking, but certainly in the minority:

    Richardson is not:

    1. Broke
    2. Moving the team
    3. Selling the team
    4. Being cheap to be cheap

    Richardson is:

    1. Saving
    2. Understanding the reality of the CBA
    3. Gearing up to spend money to solidify current core, and add new veterans upon new staff's demands.
    4. Pay new head coach good money--he's not going to hire a slapdick OC/DC.

Asses in seats. He knows this is vital. Yes, winning will eventually do that, but hiring an HC for $6-8 Million a year is not something that JR's proven to be adverse to. All he's shown is that he's not going to pay John Fox, a .500 head coach, a shade more than he is worth.

So much blind hate for JR around here, it's silly. Fucking Glazers went cheaper than shit, by choice, and that WILL NOT change. Raheem struck it with a very good QB, but if they don't spend any money over the next few years, it will wear down.

Clausen won't work, and I'm not really interested in sitting around all year, next year, watching the same shit on the field. If you have the top pick, take Luck. If Luck stays in school, trade down for Newton, if his value allows for it.

Fill holes at DT, OL, etc through what will be, if the CBA gets done, a very solid FA class.

Hell, go get a Volek (Mags), or Troy Smith, or fucking some dude who is not BSP that has won a few games and has some fucking fire.

Clausen is a bona fide pussyface. He has no dick or nuts. If Moore could have not fucked up in STL this year, and gotten better play from his OL, he would have been just fine. Moore, as his best, with what we have now, takes the team to 8-8. That's how fucking terrible Clausen is, not only as a passer, but as a leader.

Hell, fuck! He went to the MLB and cried like a fucking lady, and Smith (wisely) shat in his mouth.

While we're at it: Trade 89. It's time. Do it now (offseason) while you can get some 2nd or 3rd rd value.

I think having the combination of Williams, Stewart & Goodson would be very smart as our young team and potential new coach "grow". While Williams has had some injuries, Stewart has a bad foot and carrying a big load isn't something I want to see him do. That trio would be awesome with a better Oline. I believe Williams was disappointed in being IR'd and felt he was very close to returning when they did that. But considering our season was already DOA, it was a wise decision.

Davis I really want back. Since there was some thinking he could play this season, by next year the leg should be in good shape......hopefully. But it will certainly have plenty of time to heal and strenthen.

2nd or 3rd for 89 might be optimistic unless Al Davis has a hard on for a wide out

yeah. I mean, some of the moves didn't need to be made but they all had reasoning. Cutting budget for 2011 and re-spending slowly would be great.

I dunno about dropping 89. Asshole that he is he could be an asset.

He's been about as indifferent as possible this year. Don't know if that's considered good.

Hell, at 1-12, I would almost want him doing a full-blown Hal McRae on Clausen's stupid Karl Malden face.

Whatever. He's tight with JR, and I'm sure he's sincere about loving his wife, kids and the city. The slow wither between he and Delhomme was sad to watch, because at their best, they had unmatched chemistry.

Clausen? Jesus, he looked so fucking bad Sunday. Horrible.
