I can't think of too many quarterbacks whose best year was their first.

I'm sure Carr hopes his best is ahead of him.

I'm guessing, say, Bubby Brister was better his second year too.

I wasn't asking about other QB's though. :smart:

Uh, yeah, it is. You asked if he had gotten better with age.

His best year wasn't four years ago.

I rephrased after I typed it. I asked about Jake and you said all QB's improve from their first year. His best year wasn't last year either. Some might call it a plateau.

My point is that your response seems to be some pretty faint praise if all you are looking for is for him to be better in his second year than his first....when it's been a few years now.

That's not what I said at all.

You inferred his best year was 4 years ago. I pointed out it wasn't.

As mags pointed out, he's only one year removed from a Pro Bowl, so we are not talking about anchient history.

No, I simply asked if you thought he's getting better. That means - is he better now than he was last year?

Quit telling me what I said or inferred and just tell me if you think he's still getting better. It's not that hard.

How are we supposed to know if he's getting better? It's the offseason.

Are you inferring, because he had one year that regressed, he's getting worse? Or are you just going to keep changing the criteria every time it gets answered? You could, after all, just make a point and stand under it.

He's regressing. Or can you retards in here not figure out the meaning of "getting better" - which means he was getting better at one time - in combination with "plateau" - which means he no longer is getting better - or what?

    Fuck.

He's regressing based on one year where the rest of the offense was consistently crappy?
Fair enough, that's an actual opinion, but I disagree. Still, thinking 2003 was his best season doesn't paint you well, does it? It's either an error or a bias.

I don't know where he's headed. I find no reason to think he'll magically get worse. If you believe he is, and that's why we should get Carr, that's great.
