    Jay McKee's skate guards should be illegal. IMO...what a pussy. If you're gonna block a shot, do so. If you want extra equipment to block it with, be a fucking goalie.

    they are there as a protective measure. guys that block shots alot usually have stuff like that. Ward's carrying extra stuff on his legs, and remember Craig Ludwig? He had the widest shin guards I have ever seen, and he blocked a ton of shots.

    Well you don't gotta get all defensive about it, I'm just sayin....

    And, I'm not talking about diving to block a shot, I'm talking bout having an extra piece of equipment on your SKATE that has to be specially made BECAUSE you like to stick your foot out to block a puck and it hurts when you do so, so you come up with this shit so it won't hurt so much which to me, means hes being a pussy. Hes a hockey player for Gods sake. Either stop doing it because it hurts (duh) or be a man and suck it up.
