No way Fisher touches Miami with that idiot owner they've got. I see Fisher going to the Rams as coach/GM. Irsay runs his mouth too much for Fisher, so no Colts. Jags are a tough sell, not much to work with there unless the new owner lets him run the show.

I just love that Fisher showed up to the Dolphins interview via helicopter. Great visual. Very Miami Vice-ish.

Don't think Fisher would even want the GM title. Pretty sure he'd rather work with someone else in that role as long as he had some input on personnel.

Really? That just seems like an odd hire to me. He was just fired by Texas A&M this year. Hard to sell tickets with that, so fresh on your coaching resume.

Who are the top ranked minorities to be interviewed per the Rooney Rule?

And this is why I personally hate the Rooney Rule. What constitutes a minority? Only certain races or any race not of European descent? What about creed? Would a Jewish person fall under that category of minority? How about gender? If a team interviews a woman, has that team met the Rooney Rule mandate (if not the spirit)? If it is strictly of race, what about mixed races? How much "minority" must you have? Half? Quarter? Sixteenth?

Here's a crazy idea... get rid of the asinine rule and just draw up a list of candidates based purely on ability, potential, and character. Imagine that...

JDR has an interview with the Chiefs, apparently

I don't think that I caught that the Bears' OL was so good that Mike Tice got a promotion
