I have my doubts. I hope I am entirely wrong.

NFL | Little progress made at owner's meeting
    Wed, 8 Mar 2006 09:06:50 -0800

The Associated Press reports NFL owners made little progress Tuesday, March 7, on deciding whether to accept the proposal by the players' union to extend the labor agreement. "We're not even close to a consensus yet," said Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay. The owners have a deadline set for Wednesday, March 8, at 8 p.m. EST to agree on a new labor agreement, but continue to debate the issue of expanded revenue sharing.

If the owners want to sabotage the NFL as it stands today, they will walk on the CBA

It's not the owners who are the problem, it's the players. Their request for 59.5% of total revenues (not profits, revenues) is absurd and shouldn't even be legitimately considered. As I stated before, Tags fucked the owners up the ass by agreeing to bring this proposal to the owners because it's an absolutely horrible deal for them, but they can't reject it without taking all the blame from the public and media.

I've heard that Kraft is being a butthead about the rev sharing among the teams (owners). I'm thinking he's one of the ones that doesn't want to share. I'd love to know how Danny-Boy and Jerry Jones feel on this sharing deal. They seem like they'd be the ones to not want to share.

Oh, and Brain, thanks for the link.
