Unless I'm missing one, it's just '90, '91, '92, and '06. He was already gone before the '93 season. And like I said, the key players except Thurman Thomas were already attached to Buffalo before he got there, and I do consider Indy's win last year to be a fluke.

Also, it's worth remembering that one of his first moves upon joining the Colts was to trade away Marshall Faulk for a second round pick.

Hurney helped get us to the Super Bowl. Polian did not.

true, but you'll never get to another one again, so long as I have anything to say about it.

You are correct, I was thinking of the NFC championship game.

What did Hurney do to get the Panthers to the Superbowl? He negotiates contracts, he doesn't select free agents or draft pics.

He did have a part in hiring Fox.

It is hard to knock Polian too hard. He has been successful everywhere he has gone. If he left teams in cap hell, well that is often the price of winning in the NFL.

I do not see how Collin gets that the Colts superbowl win this past year was luck. They won games on the road and even beat the Pats. Chicago was a weak superbowl team but they had to do some impressive stuff just to get there.

It has been explained to you repeatedly. You "still" don't get it because you never will.

It has been explained to me that it is your opinion that it was luck. I fully grasp that. Even though you have no facts to base it on other than more of your own opinions.

Not pure luck, but think about it. They got to play a miserable KC offense in the wildcard round, in the dome, then they played another miserable offense in Baltimore, and New England had their foot firmly on Indy's throat before they started running out of DB's.

Then, after all of that, they got to play against Rex Grossman.

Everything fell into place for Indy last year. Would they have been able to stop San Diego had the Chargers not thrown their playoff game away? I seriously doubt it. Everything that needed to happen, happened. And now they head into '07 with absolutely no depth on either side of the ball, and a special teams unit that makes Danny Crossman look like a genius. I really think they're about an injury or two away from going 6-10.

No, the facts have been explained to you repeatedly. Hardly anything I ever say is just random bullshit without elaboration. Plus in addition to what B&B noted, Rhodes/Addai did well but didn't completely replace Edge, Manning was far below his '05 production, Freeney had the worst season of his career, and the Colts had the worst run defense in the history of the NFL. They were probably the worst Indianapolis team of the last five years, but they're the one that got a Superbowl victory.
