wtf? has the nfl completely lost its mind? $5-10,000 for wearing the black 40 tillman sticker on his helmet in week 3. cards are the only team allowed to wear it all season. plummer, a tillman teammate at asu, at first was going to wear it anyways for the rest of the season, but now will not challenge.

this is just so embarassing and pathetic for the nfl.

being the Plummer was also a Cardinal, I understand he's thinking

He could always wear a shirt like the Panthers did last year under the uniform, nothing they can do about that, but it sure takes me back to those Jim McMahon days with the headband

Same way they fine John Kitna last year for wearing a Jesus hat in the post game presser in lieu of an NFL or team hat.

Have they changed the rules on the head band thing? Or isn't "DO" rags considered a hand band?

Peyton and his Black Hightops in memorie of Unitas also.

The NFL had to draw a line on paying homage to other players and I am sure they are feeling the backlash. My issue is that they could have at least honored our troops if they didnt want to honor a single player.

That's one thing about the AFL. If you look at their uni's, they have the Army logo patch, Aaron's, etc. Almost like NASCRAP.
