I would if I were him but who knows. He might think he can come back and repeat like Elway did.

According to this site, we have a 5.6% chance. That number jumps to 9 percent if the Vikings lose tonight. Go Bears. Honestly, we have a snowballs chance, but it is nice to think about.

Unless the Vikings and Skins ends in a tie, someone will finish at 8-8 or better between those two teams. We are faced with an elaborate tie breaker scenerio to get in. It is all highly unlikely but if we beat the Cowboys (great in and of itself) and are alive going into the last week of the season that will be exciting. We have done this a few times in the past but it is better than knowing you are done before the season ends.

The Cowboys IS our playoff game IMO. I would be happy to beat Dallas and not get in the playoffs, we wouldn't go anywhere. I'd just as soon knock Dallas out of home field as get in now.

That is about what I think as well. Finishing the season on a three game winning streak would be nice too though. It might help build something for next season. If the team learns to win without Delhomme then it should be better when he comes back.

IF we win our last 2 to get to 8-8 and 8-4 in NFC:

Washington is at 7-7, they lose one (they play Minnesota & Dallas) finish 8-8 and 6-6 in NFC

Minnesota is 7-6, they would have to lose two of the three games they have left (Chicago, Washington, Denver) to finish 8-8 and 7-5 in NFC at best.

New Orleans is 7-7, they need to lose one game (Philly & Chicago), finish 8-8 and 7-5 in NFC

Arizona is 6-8 but we have the head to head tie breaker on them. No chance

Detroit is 6-8 (KC and Green Bay) has horrible 4-7 NFC record right now. No chance

Philly is 6-8 (Saints, Bills) has horrible 4-7 NFC record right now. No chance

Chicago is 5-8 (Minnesota, GB, Saints) and have 2-7 NFC record right now. No chance

my prediction? We'll lose at least one more game and all this will be irrelevant. BUT, even if we do I think Minny wins 2 of last 3 and gets in at 9-7.

***Am I right that the tie-break after head to head is Conference record?***

Whoever wins next weeks game between the Vikes and Skins is probably going to be the last team to get in.
