Defense has come up big! Offense is sluggish, but I feel "MO" is in our favor. Just keep it up, they think nobody can beat them in the dome. Keep Cheering load!

I think we will be better the second half. The panthers can smell a win now. They know they can do it.

For whatever reason, him not coming back doesn't scare me as much. Foster would have scored on Davis's big run

i've got my mom and my sister over to watch the game. my brother is the best man in a wedding and my brother-in-law is with his brother installing ceiling fans, or they'd be here too.

it didn't look good early -- the rams moved way too easily down the field. however, holding them to FGs was a good sign.

i like what we've seen so far though. solid play from the run defense and thank goodness a bit of pressure on bulger there at the end.

bulger needs to get punched in the mouth a few times. those downfield passes are too much.

what was the word on davis? hammy?

foster has filled in OK, but he needs to just keep moving forward on the sweeps -- bowl a guy over, it won't kill ya.

moose came up big on the fumble recover -- the irony was great. go moose! he's coming up big in the postseason, so i'm fine if he's saving it all up for a SB run.

i thought kasay's FG was going wide right, but he got it out so fast that it was through before is started to turn.

doesn't it look like jake is going to get sacked on every play, but he just steps ip and delivers at EXACTLY the right second.

what was with all the trickery to start the game? i really didn't care as long as time ticked off the clock. that was a fast first quarter.

how many touches does faulk have? 6? 7? great gameplan.

    Davis update

Davis injures quadriceps after long run
    By JIM SALTER
    Associated Press
ST. LOUIS (AP) – Carolina’s Stephen Davis left the Panthers’ playoff game Saturday against St. Louis after injuring his left quadriceps on a 64-yard run early in the second quarter.
The team said his return was questionable. He jogged back to the sideline with 11:22 to go in the second quarter, but was replaced in the backfield by DeShaun Foster.
Davis took a handoff at the Carolina 32 with just under 13 minutes left in the second quarter, burst through a big hole, and appeared headed for a touchdown. But Aeneas Williams caught him and made a hard tackle at the St. Louis 4. Davis limped to the sideline and walked, without assistance, to the locker room.
Davis rushed six times for 86 yards before leaving the game with the Panthers trailing 6-0.
