I'm glad Fox was having them practice with a lot of noise level this week.

    cover two

    now to be serious:
Sun technique. A sun call is an individual defensive technique call for the linebackers in a cover three - assuming that the cover three means one or more of the corners is playing deep zone (look at Tampa/STL's cover two, and note that neither of the corners are playing deep, and yet they technically have three deep with the MLB).
When the corner's dropping deep like that, the linebacker has various duties in that situation - the call could be inside/outside with another linebacker, to read a man-type situation with the two backs or the back and TE; that's called I/O. You have Curl/Hook, which is basic; you drop the requisite number of yards that's suggested in the defensive call (intuitive, mostly) and cover that short zone waiting for any such receiver route.
Then there's Buzz, which is a dropping to end up, in theory, behind the receiver in the short to flat zone; looks like a 45 degree angle back from the two point stance, and Sun, which is more like a short 45 followed by a drop toward the sideline, which is a call suggesting coverage to cut inside said receiver. Works very well with back coverages and so on. All of the above are zone calls to supplant the corner dropping in cover three, though two of them somewhat neglect the sideline in some situations.

That's Sun. Designed call to break in front of the receiver.
