It's so bad that it's awesome and hilarious. I'm just wondering if the McAdoo hire was sheer stupidity or brilliant sabotage by Rhule.

If you wanted to hard cap your offense at 17 ppg and get fired before week 5 - collecting a $30 million payout while getting a college job - this is exactly how you would orchestrate things.

Even on defense, they'll do things where I end up questioning the motive. Like why do they go to a 3 man rush and put Brian Burns in the fucking slot when they get a lead against the Giants. You've been whipping New Yorks ass for 2 1/2 quarters and now you flash this random-ass look that seems tailor-made to give up 1st downs.

Does he get full contract if he gets a college job? I thought he'd get the difference in pay if he got a new job

I think it depends on if he walks or gets fired... if he gets fired he prob gets his guaranteed money regardless

Some coaches get offset language others don't. But what part of Tepper record tells you he did it for Rhule? He opened the checkbook to avoid him even interviewing with the giants.

Shit Rhule's buyout probably grows exponentially every year.

Sometimes I think about what life would be like with Brian Daboll or Sean McDermott as a Panther HC. I would like to have a shot at Eric M. Bieniemy. Not sure why he keeps getting snubbed. I think eventually we'll start hearing more about Joe Brady getting HC attention.

So what is there about Bieniemy that appeals to you so much?
I don't think he's ever been a head coach anywhere so there is not any experience to reference from.

Matt Rhule is a prime example of the worthlessness of prior HC experience.

The draw to Bieniemy is that he works for Andy Reid, and the Andy Reid coaching tree is mostly spectacular. Of his ten assistants who got HC jobs, 7 have been to the playoffs, 6 have career records above .500, four have been to conference championships and two have won Super Bowls (that number rises to 3 unless Josh Allen decides to stop playing football). It's generally been the best apprenticeship in the entire NFL.
