I don't exactly see Ginn as the next great physicist of our time, so if we're going to be nitpicky on intelligence but ignore that actual point, I'll default back to need.

just looked around and haven't found anything knocking Ginns actual grey matter. Apparently he's not a great route runner but that doesn't mean he's a moron. Anyone got a link that sights a lack of intelligence with the guy?

No. Apparently his dad is a famous HS coach, and is a demanding guy. I'm guessing Ginn is intelligent.

All I've heard is criticism of him physically, and for not being very tough at all. It sounds like what he does is run fast in a straight line.

I'd prefer that a reach of this magnatude for a player of questionable ability henceforth be known as "Nelsoning."

Don't have anything one way or the other, no. I also don't believe Nelson's is a big issue.

Anderson and Peter were solid first round values, just not good choices. Anderson and Peter weren't as good as Plummer or Holliday. Plummer didn't end up being ridiculously good either, and Holliday has just been good, but both were better choices then and now.

Anderson I still don't get. He was a corner who would play some safety, sure. I like the versatility. And who knows what he could've been if he'd have stayed clean. But it seemed he was a better corner, and we had just acquired a good third corner, making the need silly. Bullock would've been the best choice there, being as how Hovan is just a solid player and Bullock made a pro bowl.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, too. Boothe was absolutely terrible last year, and the word I'm hearing is that Lane Kiffin and Greg Knapp (new OC) will want smaller, more nimble OL for his zone blocking scheme.
