Let's just be glad Hurney wasn't successful when he was rabidly trying to trade this year's first rounder for Clausen last year....

I don't even want to think about it.

I'm pretty sure he would've been fired.

In that case it probably would have been a positive long term.

I've kind of had the feeling that some of the past mind numbing first round give aways Hurney had may have been @ Richardson's direction to cut salary. I was just following orrrrderrrrs.
Bt had we no first or second rounder this year with the pig we have, I don't think Richardson could not fire him, regardless of direction.

I think we were the worst team in the league because we had no QB and no leadership. I don't think last year's first rounder would have given us five wins, coaching stability, or free agents.

A growler of Red Oak Battlefield Bock will help calm things down for you, I think. Works for me anyways.

High draft picks, especially developmental picks who played a different position in college, have difficulty justifying their draft position the first year. So until they do round out as players, it's all opinion.

Hurney's decision to trade for Edwards deserves to be criticized. But not to the extent it has, and certainly not for this fan base who should be hoping for a better return rather than wallowing in an overly dramatic exercise in prophetic doom.

In fact, a little Battlefield Bock all around, please.

if I knew he was going to do that, I'd be all over that draft party they're having
