um... yeah. What's wrong with that... you really appear to be to chicken shit to back your own team. I've offered ways to allow you to feel secure in the bet, but you don't have the ability to back up your own statements. Then you go and say you never know what happens during a season, but previously you discounted the fact that the Panthers record last year was significantly based on the fact that there were a number of injuries on the team. You can't have both ways... there is no middle ground, its either right or wrong, and at this point you aren't even man enough to defend your own opinion. I wouldn't even be profiting from said bet. So why would it matter if a neutral party held the money? As I've said if I win you'd pay $100 towards the upkeep of these forums. I in no way own these forums or am I even an administrator. So in no way would I be given in money for this. So what is your current cowardice defense that you can't take the bet?

    I'll say it again....

We split the season series last year. Had either of the two teams won the game that they lost, they would have been in the playoffs.

SO....we knocked their asses out of it in December as much as they knocked us out in January. He's just all warm and fuzzy inside because the deepest DL in football barely protected an 11 point lead with under 5 minutes to play in January.

    Hammer,

Nevermind the stuff about last year, or 2002.

This guy has proven that's he's a complete fucktard by not making a valid argument for his team. He's proven that he's a liar by saying that he didn't come here to talk smack.

He has NOTHING to stand on. As much of an asshole as this guy is, I think it's time to take our foot off of his throat. He's clearly an ignorant football fan who probably regrets getting into this thread.

Shit, if it were not for $1 Hurricanes in the French Quarter, the Superdome would be empty most Sunday's. And lets not get all riled up thinking you are the cajun version of Lambeau field. There is plenty of open spots in LA-Dome most Sunday's. It does get loud, but then 5 adults, 1 keg and a good PA system can make any dome loud.

Want to admire fans? Go down to Columbia on a football Saturday and see the Gamecock faithful show you what loyalty is all about...

Your limited vocabulary displays your intelligence. You must have been a neglected child. If this thread bothers you so much...STOP POSTING IN IT. It certainly doesn't bother me watching you guys get worked up over your thoughts of losing to a team you find beneath you..........letting the playoffs slip out of your hands.

Speaking of factoids from the past, who can forget the famous 1996 statement by coach Mora after the Panthers kicked some Saints ass

"We couldn't do diddly-pooh offensively. We couldn't make a first down. We didn't run the ball. We didn't try to run the ball. We couldn't complete a pass. We sucked. We sucked. It was a horseass performance in the second half. Horseass!"

In fact during Moras tenure (which by the way was more successful than the current coaches) there are some other classic lines

"We were terrible, absolutely terrible! It was an embarrassing, shameful coaching and playing by the New Orleans Saints. I couldn't be more upset, and those players in there ought to be upset."

"When you turn the ball over five times ... you ain't gonna beat anybody. That was a disgraceful performance!"

"We gave it away. We gave them the friggin' game. In my opinion, that sucked. ... We got our ass totally kicked. Holy crap. I don't know who the hell we think we are when we do something like that!"

"I'm totally embarrassed, and I'm totally ashamed. We got our ass kicked in the second half. It sucked. It stunk. Cause they just blocked better, were more tougher, more physical, coached better, did everything better. We sucked!"

Man, you just got to love that storied history in New Orleans. And like you said Andrew, cannot make that shit up...

Then why don't you send me $100 cash and I'll have my friend, who is neutral to this conversation, hold the money. Let me know when you need the P.O. Box to send it to. Sounds fair to me.
