    I didn't see as much of that and I was critical of that since preseason 02. Maybe I notice it less at LT, but his drops didn't seem as exaggerated to me. Maybe my expectations have changed.

    I certainly hope we don't franchise Gross, though. I'd rather chance it and know we still have 8 days to fashion a contract that was supposedly almost agreeable in money a full year ago.

    Speaking of the Pro Bowl, I know it doesn't matter but did Beason do anything? Actually, he covered a TE step for step, I thought that was nice. Is it stupid to take anything out of a Pro Bowl? Smitty had some nice catches, and of course Pep had his highlights. I won't pretend that the OL could actually do anything worth mentioning in the Pro Bowl, I know they are limited as far as blocking techniques and schemes.
